Huma Spa is aware of the water volumes it requires to properly operate thermotherapy baths and recognizes the impact of this practice on the environment. In order to alleviate the environmental impact without preventing people from enjoying the many benefits of thermotherapy and to manage energy costs efficiently, water meters have been installed in the building.
Huma Spa will donate all profits from the sales of reusable water bottles to the Agence de bassin versant des 7 de l’Outaouais.
Mechanical Equipment
Since the conception of Huma Spa, several systems working interdependently have been installed in order to recover as much energy as possible and to improve the overall efficiency of the systems.
Recycling and Residual Material
Huma Spa firmly believes in recycling and reducing residual material. We have carefully chosen each single-use item to ensure that it is recyclable.
However, because of COVID-19, sanitary measures temporarily take precedence over environmental measures.
Reusable Water Bottles
Reusable Huma Spa water bottles are on sale at the spa. Profits from the sales are donated to the Agence de bassin versant des 7.
The Agence de bassin versant des 7 is a provincially recognized organization aiming to protect and improve the water quality in the seven Outaouais watersheds.
