Yes. Activities at Huma Spa continue in the event of rain or other bad weather. However, in the event of severe thunderstorms, we may have to close part of the outdoor facilities for your safety. As Huma Spa offers a multiple indoor activities, you can fully enjoy your experience even in case of bad weather.
Please note that no refunds or other compensation will be issued in the event of our facilities being closed due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.
For your comfort:
It is also possible to bring an additional bathing suit in order to enjoy the Pressotherapy and NeuroSpa lounges with more comfort. In winter, plan to bring a toque* to optimize your experience.

We only welcome adults aged 18 and over for the thermal experience and for treatments.
You can arrive at Huma Spa between 5 and 10 minutes before your reservation for the thermal experience. If you have booked a treatment, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your appointment.
Huma Spa offers an all-inclusive experience (bathrobe, towels, locker and padlock, shower gel and shampoo, hair dryer, and flat iron). All you need to bring is a swimsuit suitable for thermal baths, sandals, and a reusable water bottle (also available for purchase in our boutique).
Tip: A comfortable, well-fitting swimsuit that stays in place in the water is recommended. Swimsuits with metal parts or fragile accessories are not recommended.
Please note that Huma Spa is not responsible for items lost or damaged on site.
No. In order to optimize the benefits of thermotherapy and ensure relaxation, we ask that all guests remain completely silent throughout the site.
No, dogs are not allowed on the spa premises or in the baths, except for legally recognized service dogs, which must be declared in advance and are not allowed to enter the baths.
Huma Spa accepts no responsibility for the loss or theft of your belongings. We recommend that you keep your personal belongings in your locker and do not leave them unattended during your visit.
Gift Cards
Huma Spa gift certificates do not expire. However, when used for a treatment or membership, the value of the certificate is guaranteed for 12 months from the date of purchase.
The card is unfortunately not replaceable if it is lost or stolen.
Food and Alcohol
Prioritizing physical and mental health, and since alcohol is not recommended during thermotherapy activities, Huma Spa offers high-quality teas and herbal teas, available free of charge at the health counter.
You can bring a filled reusable water bottle. To ensure that no alcoholic beverages are introduced, we may check the contents. For safety reasons, glass bottles are not permitted.
Huma Spa offers fresh, quality fruit, available free of charge at the health counter. Guests can also purchase Olivia Bistro health bites or smoothies. What’s more, the full Olivia menu can be ordered from reception, with 45 minutes’ notice.
For a complete food offering after your spa experience, we recommend you visit one of the many restaurants located in the AGORA project.
Pregnant Women
Before the 2nd trimester of pregnancy, thermotherapy and treatments are prohibited. It is important to consult your doctor before receiving any treatments.
Being dedicated to the well-being of the future mother, Huma Spa offers several safe and soothing treatments as of the 2nd trimester of pregnancy:
- The Epsom salt floating bath provides a relaxing and unique moment in zero gravity
- The massage for pregnant women, which is performed gently, improves quality of sleep and soothes stress, anxiety and physical discomfort that may result from pregnancy
- Pressotherapy treatment relieves heavy, swollen and tired legs
- The Signature Huma Spa facial and foot treatment will bring you a sensation of well-being from head to toe
- Comfortable outdoor and indoor rest areas will allow you to unwind completely
People with reduced mobility
Yes, because the building in which Huma Spa is located and the treatment floor, as well as the spa’s common areas such as the reception, treatment waiting area and changing rooms, are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Our spa facilities are not suitable for people with reduced mobility, in particular because of the stairs on our terraces and the steps in the pools.
Booking, delay and cancellation policy
Yes. Reservations are required for treatments and access to the thermal experience. Reservations can be booked online, by phone or directly at Huma Spa reception.
For any modification or cancellation before the time of the access to the thermal experience, no charge will be made. However, if the client does not notify us of his absence, does not show up or cancels a treatment less than 24 hours before it, an automatic debit of 50% of the amount of the bill will be charged to the credit card.
Yes. It is possible to book a treatment without access to the spa experience.
If the schedule allows us to move your appointment time, we will be happy to do so. However, if this is not possible, here are the repercussions of the delay:
- Less than 5 minutes – The client receives the entire treatment
- Between 5 and 20 minutes – The client receives the treatment according to the time remaining
- More than 20 minutes – The treatment is cancelled and the cancellation policy applies
Exchanges and Refunds
Gift cards are not refundable nor exchangeable for cash and are not replaceable if they are lost or stolen. They are, however, transferable.
Yes. Following your purchase, you have 30 days to exchange or refund your purchase, Canadian sales taxes included. Returned products must be intact, in their original packaging, and accompanied by the invoice. No exchange or refund will be made for products whose freshness seal is broken.
Transportation and Parking
If you are travelling by bus, you will find a stop a few steps away from Huma Spa, on Boulevard du Plateau.
If you are travelling by bicycle, you can safely leave your bike in the public square of the AGORA project.
Yes, the outdoor parking is FREE (P1 and P2) for Huma Spa customers, up to one hour after your visit. Following your visit, our reception team will give you a validation coupon that will allow you to exit the parking lot.
There is also paid underground parking, which allows you direct access to the spa by elevator or steps.

Massages and Treatments
Yes. You can go to the Huma Spa reception at any time to receive a treatment or to book your thermal experience. If the capacity of the Spa and the treatment schedule allow it, we will be happy to welcome you. However, we recommend that you book in advance to ensure availability.
We recommend that you arrive at Huma Spa fifteen minutes before your treatment. This will give us enough time to welcome you, provide you with your bathrobe and towel, explain how the Spa functions and finally allow you to change and fill in the health form.
Yes. All massage therapists of the Huma Spa team are accredited and certified and can issue receipts for insurance purposes. However, no receipt can be issued for the thermal experience or for body and beauty treatments.
Health and Safety
Depending on the activity or treatment, there are some contraindications, such as:
- Skin diseases
- Infectious diseases
- Contagious diseases
- Open wounds
- Feverish state
- Severe heart disorders
- Pregnancy

No. Unfortunately, the entire site is not accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Aromatherapy
All our fragrances are approved by Health Canada. We make sure that the VOC (volatile organic compounds) do not exceed 18%, as recommended by Health Canada.
Furthermore, the fragrances are internationally certified and comply with the highest standards in the industry. Huma Spa complies with all applicable laws and regulations regarding certification.
The fragrances are composed of essential oils and plant-based solvents. All the essential oils were carefully selected with Huma Spa’s customer base in mind, in order to enhance the wellness effects experienced.

Visit Duration and Packages
If you exceed the time at which your reservation ends, a member of the Huma Spa team will notify you and, if the capacity of the site allows it, we will offer to extend the duration of your visit. If you accept, we will modify your reservation: from the 3-hour stopover to the 5-hour break or from the 5-hour break to the unlimited access. If you wish to end your experience, we will ask you to direct yourself to the locker rooms.
